Writing and meditation are perfect companions on our journey in life. Together they can make that journey—whether the journey is only one footstep or a lifetime of footsteps—one filled with those “ah-ha” moments. The practice of meditation gets us in touch with our bodies, minds, spirit, and breath, without obsessive attachment. We learn to witness ourselves. The practice of meditation can help us as writers to focus and find new openings, new meanings, new ways of witnessing ourselves. Through three meditations followed by three writing practices we will explore this partnership. The workshop is meant to be fun and enlightening without judgement. Criticism will only be offered if requested.
Please join Connie Wieneke on Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 11 am – 2 pm, at Teton Yoga Shala. She is looking forward to this meditation and writing workshop.
